My condolences to the family of V.K Wilson. Praying for you on the loss of your love one. I first met V.K. he was my son Johnnie's first basketball coach at Cheney Elementary School. V.K. Team was big but not as big as his heart. I asked him who helped him with the boys. He said, "No one". So, I always stayed at all the practices to help him out. And at the boys' first game, he invited me to sit next to him. He said you help me at the practices so you deserve to sit here. I was surprised and delighted and we became friends. Johnnie loved his coach V.K, and so did every kid he coached. My son wanted me to express that to V.K. family for him because he lives out of state and won’t be able to attend his service. Thank you V.K. for your years of service, dedication, and love to the Willow Run Community. You will truly be missed. Karen Cook and the Cook Family
