May god bless and keep you comforted in His loving arms as well as your wife and family.

I met Mr. Kirkland at Bethel AME Church in May 2017 and he was one of the sweetest persons I knew. I had the pleasure of celebrating with him and his family his 90th birthday and it was such an honor to be in the presence of all his loved ones. May the family be close to our Savior during this difficult time and prayers abound for eternal peace.

My parents and I met Mr. Kirkland at Bethel AME Church several years ago and we were blessed to worship and fellowship with him there many times during mid-week services. He was always kind and full of joy. To John and the entire Kirkland family - may God bless and comfort you during this time of transition, and know that reunion with our loved ones is a promise from God.

To The Kirkland Family ….Sending my condolences and prayers asking God to give you needed strength to carry on during your time of loss . So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful person that will be truly missed. May God continue to comfort you.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love of God and the support of family and friends.

My Prayers go out to the Kirkland Family. Bro. Kirkland was a Good man who will be missed by all that knew him. Rest well Brother Kirkland rest well. I'll see you on the other side.

So sorry for your lost. May the Lord bless you and comfort you during this time.
