Gary was a wonderful cousin. His sense of humor kept us laughing. Gary had a wonderful heart and always wanted to help others. We are saddened that he is no longer with us but we know he's in a better place and has no more worries or pain.
Praying for our entire family in this difficult time.
Our prayers and deepest sympathy to the entire family. Gary was such a kindhearted man who always greeted you with his beautiful smile. We are blessed to have known him. May God comfort you all as only He can.
The Summerville Family wishes to extend their sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to all of Gary's family.
We love you and thank God for the rich memories, we have shared down through the years!
We are praying for the family.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. May reflecting on all the good times you've shared together help ease the pain that you now feel. May the God of all comfort strengthen you during this time of sadness and His promise for the future bring you peace. (Hosea 13:14)
Gary was a great friend of mine since 1982 when we just started talking one day in a area by the elevators at the old University of Mich hospital. We became great friends and we would go to Tigers and Lions and Michigan games often; and concerts. We used to also leave work and go to Kenny's Place on Washtenaw and bet to see who could eat the most food! I will never forget Gary and I'm going to miss him. God bless the entire family. R.I.P. GAP.
I was so sadden to learn of Gary's passing. He was such a nice person with such a pleasant personality. He kept me laughing at the hospital where we both worked. He will forever be in my memory and heart. His beautiful smile will always be remembered. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
We were sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that Redemptive Love Church will lift you and your family up in prayer to God on your behalf. God can and God will pull you through this time of poignancy. The pains of absence can never withstand the comforts of God's care. "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us." His love will carry you through. Brotha Kenney Jenkins (DETROIT MI).
Extending my deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire Powell family. Praying that during this time the promise of God is being fulfilled "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted" Matt 5:4
