Oh how my heart ach with the passing of Sister Weatherspoon. I miss the traveling from church to church in our state work. She showed me the mark of a Christian lady. Sleep on sister Weatherspoon, you are missed.
To: The Weatherspoon Family.
Please accept my condolences. May you find comfort in God's word the Bible. Jesus said: at John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him (her) on the last day.
May the hope and promises in this Scripture bring you comfort and strength to endure the difficult days ahead.
Family, sorry to hear about our loss. I remember her being the smiling, caring face each time I went into Dr. Bass's office. My mother, Emma, could always call her on a short notice and she would always work us into his schedule.
To the family of Sister Alice Weatherspoon: I worked with Sister Weatherspoon for many years in the Wolverine State Congress Finance Office. Each year I looked forward to seeing her. Sister Weatherspoon shared/taught me many things. I now envision her walking around heaven in her white robe, a crown filled with many jewels and with her beautiful smile; smiling at our Lord and Saviour, family members and friends.
Your hearts will be very heavy in the days to come; let it be a comfort to you to know that her living was not in vain.
