Mrs. Jean Hall Currie, you have been a life long member of the NAACP and its affiliated branch Ypsilanti Willow Run. You have served with dignity and pride on several committees and have been on several executive committees as well. You have given your all to your branch so it may maintain its integrity. Furthermore, as a community advocate, an elected official, elected by the majority to serve as Trustee for the Township of Ypsilanti, advocating "Honorably" for the people is an understatement. Let it be known, YOU are LOVED without measure! Now, that beautiful smile is smiling down from Heaven on us here on Earth and singing, "Now my days on earth is over, so now I have flown away......I am FREE!" God bless your soul, Mrs. Jean Hall Currie! We LOVE YOU! Rest! Rest! Until then!! The NAACP YWR Executive Committee and Members: Shoshana DeMaria, President Lee Tooson, First Vice President Floyd Brumfield, Second Vice President Joy Bowerbank, Treasurer Valory Brown Tooson, Secretary Jennifer Dorda, Youth Council We Love and miss you!!!
