When I found out over the weekend about this news it brought me to my knees. There is not a better man in this world that I have met that had the heart and the action to back you in anything that you did or wanted to do. John was a true friend to me. We started our careers at QL at about the same time and we became fast friends. My heart goes out to the family and John will forever me in my memories. You will be truly missed. Until I see you again, my friend.....

My gentle giant with the "good hair" is how I often referred to you. You were a good brother and friend. I love how you always cherished your wife and children/family. I thank God for our opportunity to cross each others paths. You will be greatly missed.. May you rest well JG- heaven became richer and earth has lost an angel's physical presence.

Jonathan was always someone I was happy to see at work. No matter what was going on, he always seemed like he had something positive to say, and was always full of pride when talking about his family, which was the most important thing to him. I unfortunately did not have the chance to get to know him well enough in the short few years I knew him, but he made the world a better place and he will be missed. RIP

Big Jon was not only big in stature, he was just as big or bigger in terms of how once he met you, it left you with the feeling like you just met a person who could become your friend for life. He rocked the old southern hospitality type trait that was beyond his years. Jon, you kept it real man; and it was my honor to have met and talked about our lives and our boy, Keith "The Snake" Watson, of whom you are now meeting up with again as I write these words.

You were kindness, generosity of spirit, too much fun and just the best of what is good in us human beings. May the spirit of your warmth, love, and compassion remain around your family always. You will be truly missed by those of us lucky enough to have gotten to experience your positivity and good heart. Rest well Sir, you deserve nothing less.

I worked with John for many years. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a fine person. Always had a ready smile and kind words. John was much younger than me but always treated me with great respect and always made me laugh. He went out of his way to come and say hello and share a story. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. So very sad. Goodbye Hollywood.

When I heard the news I was in disbelief and went numb. I thought this couldn't be true. John was one of the greatest people I knew. Always so positive and so motivating. We are all better people for knowing him. He just wasn't a co worker but he was a dear friend. I will always cherish all the memories we had. Gone way too soon. You will be greatly missed John. We love you!!

Big J- Unk, I'm down, Bro. I can't believe I been able to get to know you as a kid and now a grown man. And now all I have are memories. I guess I'll have to settle for all the knowledge & beat-downs and take them as blessings. Love
