Freeda was the most loving, devoted, and gentle caregiver of all ages. I have such great memories of her. She was industrious in all areas. She set a fine example of motherhood for the entire community. She was the nurturing, creative Kool Aid mom... I remember her sewing her children's costumes for Halloween; even Batman. She maintained her home and a lucrative daycare. I was ecstatic to be her babysitter for her anniversary weekend. I remember her carrot cakes, college advise, hair tips, home remedies... and so much more..... Keisha, Cecil and Tamika, thanks for sharing your mom.. God is in control... Love Gigi, your fun babysitter.

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the family. My mother died just over a year ago and still the pain and grief can seem overwhelming. During this difficult time a bible text has brought me much comfort and I hope it can do the same for you. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 mention that the 'God of all comfort ... comforts us in all our tribulation'. Reading this verse has helped me through a very difficult time. I hope it can do the same for you. My thoughts are with you at this sad time!
